Golf ball comparison chart · 16 models

Compare golf balls by compression, cover, spin, flight, feel, and price.

Compare each ball as a system, then choose a few to test against your current ball. The chart uses qualitative starting bands rather than exact swing-speed conversions.

1. Choose a starting band.Use the qualitative segment to narrow your choices.
2. Compare the whole system.Read compression where verified, then cover, construction, flight, spin, and feel.
3. Check price and compare.Compare each candidate with your current ball before buying more.

TopSuggest starting bands are broad editorial starting bands informed by manufacturer positioning and published attributes—not manufacturer-certified swing-speed charts or launch-monitor conversions. Compression is weighted when comparable current evidence exists: it affects feel and response, but it is not a hard swing-speed gate; unverified records remain neutral. Urethane and ionomer-style cover differences can inform feel and short-game behavior, while layers and construction work as a system. Dimple count alone is not scored; published aerodynamic or flight behavior can inform flight fit.

Catalog reviewed August 8, 2026. This selected 16-model catalog covers common golf-ball fit profiles; omitted models were not judged inferior.
